Dave Matthews Band InfoThe acoustic jazz/rock band of Dave Matthews, Boyd Tinsley, Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard and the late LeRoi Moore have been a force on the music scene since the early 1990's. Dave Matthews Band has grown from a Charlottesville thought into one of the most distinct touring band of the 1990's and 2000's. In 2008, Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic ATV accident. Vowing to continue to make music, 2009 saw the release of the studio albumBig Whiskey and the Groogrux King. Dave Matthews Band continues to be one of the top touring acts in the music industry embarking upon long national tours with multiple stops. One of the bands most famous stops for shows occurs at the scenicGorge Amphitheatre in Central Washington, generally Labor Day Weekend. |
