Epic Seats Consignment Program
Fee structure:
85% of sales price remitted to consignor via company check to consignee with in 15 days of Epic Seats receiving payment from the customer (usually 3-14 days from date of ticket shipment)
15% of the sales price is given to Epic Seats as a consignment fee.
Physical Location of Tickets Epic Seats has three options for consignment customers in order to provide the most convenient solution possible:
Option 1: Consignor (the ticket owner) holds the tickets at their home or place of business – in either case the consignor agrees to drop ship the tickets (shipping label will be provided) to the end user within 1 business day of a sale. If the consignor will be unavailable to ship the tickets, they will delegate a second party to make sure the tickets can be shipped within the single business day time frame. Consignor must also provide a credit card authorized for the amount of ticket replacement cost (often greater than the list price of consignors tickets) should consignor misplace, sell or give away the tickets listed with Epic Seats which sell before consignee notifies Epic Seats of a change in ticket availability status.
Option 2: Consignee (Epic Seats) physically receives the original tickets from the consignor. In the event that the tickets have not sold, the consignor will be responsible for return shipping cost or Epic Seats will gladly ensure that the tickets are sent to the venue to be sold on the street for the most possible revenue.
Option 3: (e-tickets or Ticketfastâ„¢ tickets only) Consignor emails the tickets to consignee (Epic Seats) in the event of a sale, but keeps the original tickets in case they do not sell.
No matter what option works best for the consignor, Epic Seats requires that the consignor agree to list their tickets exclusively with Epic Seats and consignor will not agree to sell or give away their tickets without first ensuring that Epic Seats has no pending web sales or outstanding ticket holds.
If the consignor gifts, sells, re-prints, emails, provides stolen tickets, provides fraudulent tickets or sells the tickets without notifying and receiving a response from Epic Seats, then the consignor may be liable for the replacement cost of the tickets which often times is more than the selling price plus a $50 emergency ticket replacement fee.
Due to the nature of the relationship, Epic Seats requires current contact information from all consignment customers including cell phone number and email address, in the event of a move, change of phone number or change of email address, please notify Epic Seats ASAP.
Ticket Quantity Epic Seats will sell tickets in any quantity, so long as it does not leave a single ticket in inventory. If the consignor has special preferences about only selling tickets in certain multiples, please advise an Epic representative. Example:You have 6 tickets together, per Epic Seats’ policy, Epic will accept all orders for 6, 4, 3, 2 or 1 ticket

Pricing Pricing is an inexact science, however, based on the current market prices and any existing sales data, an Epic representative will provide an educated opinion as to what pricing is most likely to generate a sale. Pricing is up to the consignor and will depend on the consignor’s goals, whether they be to – sell quickly, return x price, only sell if x price or higher can be returned or attempt to get top dollar for the first two months, while lowering the price thereafter. Please make pricing goals known below:
Comments:
Important:When setting your prices below, please note that while listing tickets for sale is free,Epic Seats charges consignors a 15% commission once your tickets are sold. This amount will be deducted from Epic’s payment to the consignor, please adjust desired selling prices accordingly to ensure that the money returned is the amount desired. Remember, all prices discussed are per ticket.
Protection In order to ensure the integrity of Epic Seats’ business and the safety of all buyers, Epic requires that consignors provide a valid credit card below. This is deters fraudulent sellers and allows Epic Seats to provide a superior level of service to all sellers and buyers in the marketplace.

Your credit card will only be charged in the event that a more expensive replacement ticket was necessary to fill an order. The consignment tickets belong to the consignor, however, it is up to the consignor to inquire about any current orders for the tickets on consignment before they can be released back to the consignor. If this protocol is not followed and an order must be filled at Epic Seats expense due to the consignor no longer having the tickets, then the consignor will be liable for any additional replacement cost, plus a $50 replacement fee. .In addition, the card is kept on file to ensure that the tickets were not stolen, fraudulent or voided. In such cases consignor will be charged for the replacement value of the tickets plus the $50 replacement fee and the individual will be excluded from participating in Epic Seats consignment program in the future.
Once this form is submitted, the tickets will be listed for immediate sale on Epic’s nationwide network of over 2000 ticket selling websites. Listed tickets will remain for sale until purchased, requested back by the consignor or until consignor’s specified end date is reached.
Important information Find Out More >
Pricing:Ticket prices in the secondary marketplace fluctuate and can change by the minute. If at any time the consignor would like to have the price of tickets raised or lowered, please contact an Epic representative via phone or email. Pending orders at the previous price will be honored by Epic Seats until 2 hours after the changes are made.
Ticket Sale:
The consignor will be notified via email or telephone in the event that any number of consigned tickets sell.
Shipping:If possession of the tickets is maintained by the consignor, it will be the consignor’s responsibility to ship the tickets via a pre-paid FedEx shipping label provided by Epic Seats via email or fax. It is important that the consignor ships the tickets within one business day as many events are time sensitive due to the end users travel plans and the actual event date. Once the label is received, Print it, place the label in the outside pouch of a FedEx brand air envelope, place the tickets inside within a plain white envelope and give the envelope to any FedEx Kinko’s store employee or drop them inside any FedEx labeled mailbox. Visit www.fedex.com for authorized FedEx locations.
Payment:Payment will be sent within 15 days of the date Epic Seats receives payment from its selling partner. So long as the tickets have shipped to the buyer, the longest the consignor will have to wait is 30 days with an average of 15 days. This is due to varying payment procedures from Epic’s partners. The Tickets:If the consignor plans to hold onto the tickets, it is important to maintain possession of the tickets listed with Epic Seats until they are sold. If the consignor wishes to sell to an other party or give the tickets away, it is crucial that Epic Seats is contacted before alternative arrangements have been made to ensure no pending orders are in process. Once no pending orders are confirmed the tickets belong to the consignor to do with what they please. If for any reason the tickets are lost, stolen or misplaced, be sure to contact Epic Seats immediately to pull the listing.
If the tickets are in email form or are TicketFast® tickets, please email or mail the original electronic file or printout to Epic Seats.
Unsold Tickets:
If tickets are still unsold within 48 hours of the event, Epic Seats will advise the consignor of the best price to get the tickets sold, which can often times be below original cost to the ticket holder. If the tickets still do not sell, but Epic believes it to be worth the cost of shipping the tickets to a trusted street seller at the venue, then the consignor will have the option of having the tickets sold on the street for whatever the game day going rate is. The ticket is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, not the dollar amount printed on the ticket. Epic Seats will work on the consignor’s behalf to return the highest dollar amount possible as it increases Epic’s consignment fee revenue and strengthens the relationship with the very valuable consignment customer.
Cancelled, Postponed or Rescheduled Events: If an event becomes cancelled, postponed or rescheduled before it is sold via Epic Seats Consignment Program, An Epic representative will notify the consignor via email and remove the listing. It will be the consignor’s responsibility to recover a refund or a replacement ticket for the make up event. Epic is happy to advise the consignor of the best way to do this. If consignor’s tickets are sold and then the event becomes postponed or rescheduled Epic Seats will determine whether the new date and time work for the buyer. If so, the sale will go through and the consignor will be paid the usual amount. If the new date and time do not work for the buyer, then Epic Seats will refund the purchase price to the buyer and if the consignor has been paid, Epic will collect the full amount of the payment via a check or credit card. If the consignor has yet to be paid, the payment will be cancelled and the tickets will be either returned to the consignor or re-listed for sale under the updated date and time. If the event is cancelled, Epic Seats will pull the listing immediately and the consignor will be responsible for seeking a refund from the primary ticket seller be it Ticketmaster, tickets.com, Ticketswest or a theater or sporting organization directly. If Epic Seats sells consignment tickets for an event that becomes cancelled, Epic Seats will refund the purchase price to the buyer and if the consignor has been paid, Epic will collect the full amount of the payment via a check or credit card. If the consignor has yet to be paid, the payment will be cancelled. Epic Seats reserves the right to re-coup full payment amount paid to a consignment customer plus any related replacement cost and a replacement fee of $50 (not applicable for cancelled events) in connection with cancelled event, fraudulent tickets, mis-represented ticket locations or an invalid ticket bar. Epic Seats may request payment from the consignor without charging the credit card on file.
Legality of reselling tickets:Some states, cities and counties regulate the reselling of tickets to entertainment and sporting events, including limits on the resale price. Epic Seats is in compliance with all local, state and regional laws where it operates and will ensure that the consignor violates no law in selling tickets via Epic’s consignment program. Season Tickets: Epic Seats encourages consignors to list entire season ticket packages via the consignment program. Please contact an Epic representative to facilitate this.
