CenturyLink Field is the home stadium of the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and the Seattle Sounders of MLS. Additionally, CenturyLink Field hosts huge concerts like Taylor Swift and Metallica, and other major events. CenturyLink Field, often referred to as “The Clink,” seats about 69,000 for football games and known for being incredibly loud. The stadium’s unique clamshell design --inspired by the design of the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium-- amplifies crowd noise and reflects it back onto the field. In fact, the Seahawks used to own the Guinness World Record for loudest crowd roar at 137.6 decibels, and it's not unheard of for seismic activity to be recorded during big plays. The Seahawks have sold out every home game since 2003 and the Sounders consistently lead MLS in home attendance. The Clink is right by I-90 and has plenty of parking available in the CenturyLink Garage or T-Mobile Park Garage. You can quickly and reliably get close to the ballpark by bus, rail, or train, with CenturyLink Field being less than a 10-minute walk from the Stadium or Chinatown-International District Light Rail Stations, and Union Station.
