Wake Forest University is a private research university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wake Forest was founded in 1834 and currently has 8,500 students. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons played their first football season in 1888 and are a charter member of the ACC conference. WF is the smallest school in the FBS, but do not let that hold them back and are competitive year-in-and-year out.
